For Fran...recycled milk 'bottles'

For Fran...recycled milk 'bottles'

This is an idea I pinched from Fran. They make great little planters and fit perfectly on this old Pallet. All sorts of little salad crops planted in there which haven't really got going yet, but it's almost full up now. Thanks Fran! Brilliant idea!

it's a idea, I use them at the back of my window box I put them on the window ledge, you can’t see them; and it looks like I have more plants in the widow box.

Great Idea Maria. In this case it doesn't really matter that you can see them, because the colour blends well with the paint on the Pallet.

I wonder where Fran is...haven't seen her for a while. Must message her. :)

wow, that's brillinat, I love it. lol you've taken an idea and really flown with it.

I've seen lots of pallet garden ideas, but nowhere to get them locally (and iwth no transport, can't see me getting them home on a bus!) and doubt I could get a pallet apart safely, given the size nails they use. But this is terrific and if I had a small part in it I'm delighted.

@ Waddy - I've seen some pictures of wall-mounted pallet "gardens", if you've room for one or more of those. The bottom of the pallet is filled in, and it's planted like one of those plastic bag planters, from the bottom layer up. Sure Google would find a zillion pictures to give you ideas.

@ Cottage Karen, thanks for the thought, I've been a bit bleah! but touch wood I'm coming out of it now

:) It's not looking as tidy now...but still going strong!

They do tend to take over any space to the fullest capacity!

I do like those lanterns, they look like mini hurricane lamps, not seen that sort before

OOh, now where did I get those....I think it was Sainsbys.

I've not done much looking in the electrical or lighting departments; doubt I'd have noticed them even if I had, as I assume they're mains electric outside the house.

No Fran. Little solar Panel.

oh, right! will have to look out for them. I've got some fairy lights, battery operated, they run on 8-houses-on-errr-the rest of the time off. But solar would be better
