I'm not very successful with cuttings of these,Brian..I'm better with other plants..

Thanks Holly..There are three pink one in the bigger pot at the back,so I'm hoping I don't have to pot them on,before planting out time..another couple of weeks should do it,I hope..

Looking so nice just as they are. Very pretty and they will be giving colour all through the summer.

Its lovely to see them in the sunshine. Mine are all stuck in the greenhouse, and no sign of them making it out of there for the foreseeable future.

Thanks Chris,I Like them grouped together too,but my pots
are calling..they look desolate with only soil in them :o)

Thanks Karen,I take them outside as much as possible,so they are well hardened off..Saying that,it's been cold enough in the Conservatory all winter,as it's unheated,so they have had to be tough :o)
Naturally, they haven't been out today,in this rain and gale force wind..I would never have seen them again ! Lol Hasn't it been a shocker ?

They look great Sandra very pretty & colorful, the wind has torn Clematis flower heads off here today its been so rough .. :o(

Thanks 3d..I think it's probably a bit warmer where you are..we had two keen frosts last week,so I don't want to chance it just yet.maybe in a couple of weeks time..It blackened all the new foliage on the Camellia, and burnt the red growth on the Pieris..

5 May, 2015

thanks Amy,it's been horrible today..not much rain, but stong winds like yours .A lot of my Camellia flowers were getting past their best,so I've been taking them off..the ones that are sheltered are still ok..In town today, you would have thought there had been multiple weddings,,as all the blossom from the trees was like a carpet of confetti,on the ground..:o(

Have patience M'dear..... Won;t be long now! I'm just like you no patience at all where plants are concerned.Nearly threw a Fucshia away, thought it was dead .Tipped it out its pot to threw and low and behold there were new shoots right at the bottom of the stem.Had to repot it very quickly.Have had some sucess with overwintering and dividing Dahlias(with a little help from my neighbour)this year, can't wait to plant them out! Those Pelagoniums look so healthy, I lost a lot of mine,'cos I forgot to get them out before the frosts came last year, could have kicked myself!

Glad you spotted the Fuchsia was still alive,Val..:o) I think even my hardy ones, that are always outdoors, had the new foliage from the bottom, killed off with the frost. last week.I'm just hoping they throw out new ones..good luck with your Dahlias too..it's great to see them survive a winter..I haven't had Dahlias for a couple of years, but they are lovely..

Looking Great Sandra, wont be long now [hopefully]before things warm up! Mine that I left outside are still ok apart from their leaves are red, just hoping they will flower for me this year;0)

Thanks Carole, that's good yours survived..I guess they are more sheltered by the Conservatory..poor things with red leaves, they must have been really cold..a long spell of sunshine wouldn't go amiss :o) x

All looking good Sandra, hopefully the frosts, gale force winds and heavy rain will soon be over and we can enjoy planting out our overwintered and new plants with no worries :o)

Thanks Neena..what weather we are having, aren't we? I'm fed up of keep taking them in,and putting them out again now..I have no room in the cold frame, and the plastic growhouse is full of pots waiting to be filled ..Fingers crossed,it looks like a much better day today..
.....
Thank you Paul,I'm pleased with the results this year :o)

Everything I try to "over winter" turns to dust. That's why I like buying new ones!

very special and so pretty :-)))

I shouldn't think your climate is easy to over winter these,Paul, and I only keep mine for one winter..I shall still buy some new ones as well :o)
