Banks and slopes ,well drained ,rich ,humus soil ,soil type will tolerate most soils ... survived 2014 winter in the garden .. plus there's several more flower buds ready to bloom

Thanks it is rather unusual I didn't expect it to come through the winter It didn't bloom last year this is its first flower with several more to come ...
