well they were snug

well they were snug

no longer snuggled side by side. wicked of me but daughter took them on a 4 mile bus ride to ditch them. She is taking animal welfare at college and I think this is a step too far!

I normally throw them up in the air so they break there shells on the path where the thrush has an anvil.

She released them in the college grounds.

its the career in animal welfare she is hoping for. she sees the need to kill pests but I think they may have gone as food for some of the animals at the college. invertebrates don't have the same rights as vertebrates apparently. I am learning all sorts from her. I think she enjoys telling me things I didn't know. :o)

OH and I are now at the stage of wondering where those kids have gone. They are all so knowledgeable and willing to share. It is nice to have grown up conversations with them. She has obviously made a good career choice.

Where does the time go? (What a cliche!).

Those snails do look comfortable...

Good that you found the snails before they multiplied. I usually search around the edges of the pots and that's usually where some spend the winter, so I throw them on to the tarmac where the birds eat them.
