I dont know the name Karen, oh dear, hope you get flowers soon. My H. nigra has flowers but they look sad, think the frost got them.

New one to me just googled it and according to one grower they offer a pink Tutu as well, not sure if the Tutu are the plants petals or not.
Nice whatever, Has to worth crossing with a white or yellow

Thanks everyone.

Brian, do you cross them yourself?

Still nothing on mine. No flowers and no new leaves either. Have I lost it I wonder? It's in the same place as the snowdrops Mum sent me, and they haven't really appeared either. Close to the hedge, so could be mice.

Oh dear Karen, you should really be seeing signs of growth by now eh. Could it be something has dug the snowdrop bulbs up? I set peonies once with blood, fish and bonemeal in the hole and the darn fox dug them up.

Yes, I fear I may have lost it Dawn, and only one snowdrop so far. Time will tell. They are under an Appletree, so no harm in leaving it all alone for another year. The Hellebore might reappear later in the year, and snowdrops are sometimes very slow to establish.

We can only hope Karen.

Thanks Amy. After reading, I've found the Helleborus Orientalis (Lenten Rose) are the ones that give a good impact, love them.
