New Lemon Tree for the greenhouse

New Lemon Tree for the greenhouse (Citrus limon (Lemon))

I miss enjoying the scent of citrus blossom, so decided to have another go with a lemon. I lost the last one...probably overwatered it and then repotted it which finished it off.

I have two ornamental oranges which I love for the same reason...the perfume is lovely.

It really is a special blessing. I can't quite remember which holiday....but I remember it filling the air outdoors....might have been Spain, but could have been years ago in Florida...or perhaps Italy. They are everywhere I go! Lol ;)

I've been to Portugal several times and there they have them planted along the streets, the perfume can be quite heady.

It could well have been there! :)

Good luck then with this one K, we are on our second one, the only trouble we have is aphids and scale.....but the scent is so beautiful, and the lemons are so sweet, yours is a different variety I can tell by the shape of the lemons...

Yes, it's not 'Four Seasons' which was my first one, but it didn't have a variety name.

I think ours is Meyers or something like that, it is almost lime like with very thin skin.

It's a good size and a bonus with fruit. The flowers do have a beautiful scent. Ours hasn't started flowering properly yet. There were a few before Christmas but none since. Just a couple of tiny fruits.

Yes, only a couple of buds on this one...it will flower later as will yours. It is a terrific size though, and healthy too! :) I was pleased as it was less than the ones Crocus used to sell, and larger.
