Thanks so much everyone ~! Alot of times I'm afraid to post pictures that show my garden at a distance, I'm so used to seeing it, that it doesn't look odd to me, but I'm afraid someone who's never seen it before will think it 's an over grown ,mixed up mess ! I'm sure several do...lol, luckily for me , they are just to kind to say so....! Bless you..lol.

You're obviously a very talented gardener with a passion for plants......I'd love to see more pics of your garden at a distance that I can 'steal' ideas from. We seem to find it hard to get a balance of height, colour, textures, etc. Gray would like wider borders but I resist because of the weeding!! then he says if they're full of plants you don't get the weeds....and I suppose thats true but.... Oh, it seems so drastic to cut away the lawn!

Gorgeous garden, doesn't it lift your heart to see the beautiful plants and setting, I can just see your tiger lilies about to flower.

I think you are being a little too sensitive about your garden. I really like the full lush look. That is the way a traditional English garden looks. I think the US style of order and room between plants with the mulch showing through is not as attractive. Now that is just my opinion and I'm sure some will disagree, but honestly it really only matters if YOU like it, right!

Well said Wohlibuli! All our gardens are different and we all love our own and others ideas, but yours is exceptionally lovely Flcrazy, I think you're just used to seeing it. Mines only a small garden with things that need altering but a couple of hours in a supermarket and I think it's heaven on earth!

Thanks so much ladies, and fourseasons, for your reassurance. It really does mean alot to me. I think all of you have created your own little slices of heaven on earth ! I also agree with both of you, Janey and Wohlibuli, we all have our reasons for gardening, and our own gardening styles, and might I add, thank goodness they aren't all the same, how boring would that be, not to mention impossible ! I mainly garden to appease my need to create something,( I'm the restless type), and for stress release,so you're right, the only one I really need to please is me, and I'm obviously very easy to please....lol.

I have to admit that the fuller more colourful garden is my favourite. I like mine to be a riot of colour and foliage and flowers and...... ohhh just full, lol. But I love to see all the diverse types of gardens there are on the site. Variety is the spice of life as they say.
