It looks like a relative of G. Rozanne?? Much deeper blueish-purple than the pic shows.

Hi Karen - I've just Googled Phillippe Vapelle, and it is a bit paler than mine but very similar otherwise. There are so many that are similar . . . plenty of scope for arguments! At my gardening group this morning there was a G. just like mine, but several people said it was Johnson's Blue, whereas I'd been told mine is G. magnificum! Maybe it doesn't really matter in the grand scheme of things . . . :))
