I bet they will be! I'd lobe a pond like this, still haven't got round to doing anything though, how deep would you say it will be? And do you have a pump?

11 May, 2014

Its just a wildlife pond Janey, around 3 feet deep, think there are a couple of Newts and have seen frogs, it doesnt have a pump, its just a natural watering hole for those who care to stop over ;0)

A very des res for your frogs and newts, beautiful. I haven't had a pump since my last fish died and there doesn't seem to be a problem, after all there are no pumps in 'wild' ponds:-)

Thanks BA you are quite right, I do keep on top of any alge that tends to form from time to time, I quite enjoy fishing it out lol

I've got that tiny leaf plant in mine, it was all over the surface. Started trying to get it out with various implements ... gave up and used my hands ... quite therapeutic lol:-))
