Maidenhair spleenwort fern. ' Asplenium trichomanes'
This fern is a native British fern and is found growing in very little soil in full sun or shade. It will attach itself to walls and other masonary. It is a fern that is found in this area the south west region of the U.K
These specimens were originally growing on a wall in our garden and were transplanted in gritty compost and are spreading very well.

It is a shame that folks pull it off and remove it entirely. Its growing out of an old stone wall in our front garden. It appears to like the full sun as well without very little soil and it looks very pretty.

I've got these growing in my walls - what a waste it would be to pull them out!

Lovely. I just love green all over the page. So dainty.
What else?
See who else is growing Asplenium trichomanes.
See who else has plants in genus Asplenium.

Also grows here in south west Wales. It's everywhere on old walls and very pretty. I've seen people clearing it off the walls and having just bare stone. I think that's such a shame.
