What a beauty with the cream edges. I shall miss my Geisha girl this year, but I did bring a young 'Lemon and Lime' with me, and it has buds on. :)

I've never tried to take a cutting Karen, I think this shrub kind of goes out of mind and blends into the background in July, when I usually take them, I must remember this year.

There was one on my walk back from the shops at the old house...all along one side of a house boundary. THe lady that lives there has a red car and a red front door...it looks amazing in spring time!

Thank you I'm pleased you like it , Sandra sorry if I'm tempting you into wanting something you can't have :o( ,
Dawn you know when these flowers go to seed the plant has these big apple looking pods on the shrub well if you leave them on until they are ripe enough to drop off you can easily open them and grow the seeds inside I have done it they germinate and grow quite quickly ,I'll save some seed for next year if anyone wants some ....

This is just gorgeous Amy...I'll have some seeds if you're offering... only got the red one. Will look out for the others that have been mentioned:-)

That is a great flower! I haven't seen this one before.

Talking about seeds, my daughter gave me some at the end of last year. I don't know where I've put them now or I'd sow some of them.

I'm looking forward to see the photos one day Kat , you,ve done well to get them this far ,well done :o))

Do you know if they come true from seed, Amy? If it is a hybrid then the seeds are very unlikely to be anything like the mother plant! :-(( To get a true one you would need to take cuttings. Nevertheless if you'd like to tuck a couple of small cuttings into a plastic bag in a couple of months time, (they don't need to have roots), then I'd love to have them.

The common ones I have came true with the seed Balcony but this one was new to me last year I haven't collected any seed from it yet to try it ,the label doesn't actually state whether it's a hybrid or not I'll try googling it to find out .. You are welcome to some cuttings if you would let me have your address I know it's Cambridge but that all . I also bought another one recently a pale lemon called 'Geisha girl' I'll be putting a photo on soon ..
