my other half Jane got this yesterday for £3.99 starts with red buds then the flower is white. quite nice i thought..

That's a lot of difference red to white those buds haven't been artificially coloured have they, they do that with some Heathers in the most horrible blue colours.

At a GC today we saw some awful bright orange Heathers on the Halloween table ... obviously died the 'spooky' colour!
