These were grown from seed and were transplanted late April 2008.The first hints of colour appeared in June. They are incredibly easy to grow and provide a nice hint of colour for a container or border.

You BOUGHT one! Why didn't you grow them from seed?

We managed to grow them in seed trays on the kitchen window sill Jacque. Have a go next spring when your greenhouse is up and running. We have grown a lot of plants from seed this year and its much cheaper than buying the plants, and so much fun watching the seeds germinate and the plants grow.
See who else is growing Cerinthe major purpurescens.
See who else has plants in genus Cerinthe.

Beautiful Grenville! One of my favourite flowers and grows so well from seed. Thank you!
