Ixora
There are many species of Ixora, I have no idea which ones I have in the garden. They are very decorative and look nice in floating flower arrangements.

Several weeks, but the bush flowers for ages. These are a cluster of tiny flowers. I think you mean in the house, once picked no longer than a day or 5.

Well Lori, let's google on that one. I am for ever researching and google is very good I find. I agree that the buds look similar to your honeysuckle.

According to Wikipedia, and the differing classification systems aside, they are of the same Class...Magnoliopsida...which simply means that they are dicots...they have two cotelydons to nourish emergent shoots and roots...but Ixora is of the Order Gentianalis while Lonicera is of the order Dipsacales...All Greek to Me!!! but at least my curiosity has been satisfied... lol. Cheers!
What else?

See who else has plants in genus Ixora.
