Through the kitchen window... (Clematis montana (Clematis))

That is gorgeous Homebird, shame you can only enjoy it through the window :( The sun is peeking through the clouds here but its still cool, fed up now but on the plus side ive saved a lot of cash as i haven't bought much..

What a lovely view to cheer you up :-)

Thanks everyone, I can't wait to see it all out again. The buds aren't opening yet to the Rt of the window, that side faces east and doesn't catch as much sun at this time of year. It looks smashing when it's all out.

Wonderful view Hb...sorry to hear your weather was bad....We were at Hillsborough Castle Garden Show today and the sun shone all day, bought a few plants, met Monty...:>)

So pretty, Hb. I've got a similar one growing through my defunct plum tree. This is only its second year, but there are lots of buds. I'm looking forward to seeing the flowers.

You had a great day by the sound of it Moti. Will take a look and see if you have put photos or a blog on.
It's a brilliant clematis for quickly smothering anything with flowers Melchi. Mine is over 20 yrs old and never fails to please every year. I put a Nelly Moser in with it a couple of years ago thinking it would extend the flowering period but it decided to flower at the same time!!!

Beautiful. Where is it? Is it greenhouse or part of a glass corridor? Sorry, do not have eĊ„ough imagination.

Thanks Katarina, it's around the east facing kitchen window and along the south facing side of the conservatory.

I love how they add colour higher up in the garden and also give colour to shrubs and trees that have flowered previously..

It looks very pretty indeed and nice that you can see it so many times during the day. Ours is very late to flower this year but will be worth waiting for when it opens up!
