It is Cardiocrinum giganteum the giant Lily. It grows really tall but it takes years to get to this stage Karen. It is spectacular.
This is my special Spring garden outside my bedroom window. I love opening the curtains in the morning Sandra. Thanks Terra.

Wow! Oh yes, Kath would love us to have this at Glamis...but they are very expensive. Fantastic...it doesn't look like a lily at all does it. I've never grown it myself, but now I think I shall!
