Brunnera macrophylla 'Jack Frost'

Brunnera macrophylla 'Jack Frost' (Brunnera macrophylla (Brunnera))

This is the first one I bought and it's been split a couple of times now. I think I'll need to split it again this year!

Mine is doing the same it has gone mad. Must have been the mushroom compost I put on its border. lol. It is really singing in the old Plum tree border. It kept flowering for ages last year too.

Officially, it should be split in spring, or you can take root cuttings in winter.....oh well, unconventional as usual...breaking all the rules....blah blah!

I split mine all the time at any time of year, they are so easy to propogate and those leave's are to die for, once the flowers are finished and deadheaded the leave's come into there own, Big and heartshaped and very popular with tropical gardeners for underplanting, im allways sending them to members of a tropical forum im a member of, another 2 going off tomorrow, I can't believe how much ebay sellers and GCs charge for them when they are so easy to propogate, Ooops i went on a bit there :)))
Yours is going to be huge in a few weeks karen, its a beaut..
