No mate there are some nice perennial ones too, this is one of them I have I think 3 now.

2 May, 2013

That's another option for me to consider for next year.
Very interesting!

3 May, 2013

This year it was a matter of chucking in what I could find to get in a bit of colour for summer.
I believe it's called blind panic. Lol.
I'll be better prepared next year.
Live & learn, eh?

4 May, 2013

Best way mate :-)

Yours are way ahead of mine Sl. I have set seed for the yellow type and they are coming along nicely. Do you find that they spread a lot. Mine do, I have to be ruthless in controlling them.

4 May, 2013

Yes your right Hb, they do tend to spread a bit, but I just lift and divide like you a bit ruthless, the yellow one is it c.dealbata? I've just planted out some seedlings of that one.

5 May, 2013

Sorry not dealbata , although i have sown seed of that one too, I meant c.macrocephala

5 May, 2013

C. Macrocephala rings a bell but the seed packet is up in the greenhouse. I will look it out tomorrow.

5 May, 2013
