Lovely one Amy, I have a Virburnham, Don't know the name tho, not as pink as yours :-)

Amy it is called the Viburnum beetle and is proving to be a real problem, especially for the Tinus varieties, it attacks ours every year, so I cut it back and have to spray, I had to take one of our plants out because of the damage.

That's very pretty, Amy. Interesting to hear about the beetle - I had a large viburnum in the back garden which was attacked by something and didn't seem to recover so I cut it right back but it hasn't done anything since! The one in the front garden seems fine, thank goodness.

Perhaps it was the beetle that attacked your plant Gill , it's such a shame when you lose a nice shrub ,lets hope it doesn't reach your front garden !
