Goodness thats a great shot, I wish I could take photos like that Pimpernel, but at least with modern cameras I just dont take photos of feet any more!

Thanks Denise...I am pleased with this one in flight, I have hundreds of photo's of blurred Hoverfly's and Bees!..and a few of my feet. :0)

Lovely shot, Pims. When you say "new" lavender, is this a second flowering or the first this year? Or do you mean you've just acquired it?

My old lavender flowers are well and truly spent Gattina, so not wishing to rub it in Bloomer!, I bought three more new plants with lovely fresh flowers to keep the bees happy. £2 each at Morrison's bargain.

You know how to hurt a "Girl's" feelings,Pimms..so smug :o)..anyway..MINE are still in full flower,so there..and so I didn't need to spend £6...the moth lives on in my purse ! Lol.

Lovely picture. After only a couple of years, my French lavenders are looking bedraggled and think they need replacing, but my Hidcote is a bee magnet and still healthy tho' considerably older. In France, the bees on the lavender are lavender-coloured!
