The garden swing is very special. We bought it in memory of our son who we lost in 2006...it's Stephen's swing. He used to love to try them all out when we went to the garden centres

I just plain like what you did with this area. Gives me some ideas for my entry walkway, which is now nonexistent and needs recreating.

What a wonderful thing to do, I know you two will cherish it always, you've created a very special place to remember a very special son. My heart aches for your loss.

That is so sad to read. You are very brave to continue everything and come to internet. Your garden looks so tidy and organised. I am sure you will find some quiet moments there to be close to him. I wish you strength.

It reminds me of a 'storytelling' chair.
I can imagine a tale or two being told to an enthralled audience, just in front.
Beautiful.
Enchanting.
