Robins like worms and insects. Our robin comes for mealworms that I put down. Other birds are going around all the shrubs searching for insects.
The worm population has increased fourfold in our compost bin. The top cushion that keeps the heat in is a writhing mass of worms when we lift it up to put more compost in the bin.
