Looking good

Fabulous and on my list (now there's a surprise)

Don't know if it's clear on this photo, but there are two, one each side of the steps. The one on the left is growing really well, the other one has hardly grown in four years. I don't know why...it's just moody. I read recently that they can sometimes take ages to get going, so perhaps it will shoot up this year....

I can see it now Karen. Did you spot the stray bucket in my blog? I noticed it a minute ago Lol!

lol...no I didn't! The things I don't see when I'm taking pics...hose pipes, rubbish bags, mugs, clothing.....you only see what you want to see don't you!

The first side gate photo had a giant shadow of me that was removed very quickly but I missed my old bucket

Yes, shadow is the trickiest thing here as well. Every time I try to take something lit by the evening sun I end up making shadow!

With me it's usually a line of washing. How come you don't see it when you're taking the photo, but it's the first thing you notice when you upload them!! :o))

your garden looks lovely, full of different forms and colours.

Thanks Linda. It feels a bit 'stuck' in this dull weather, but the rain is bringing on the perennials nicely, so I shouldn't complain!

We had a heavy snow shower this am before 8 o'clock but it melted on landing. On the news someone down south had sent in a photo of his garden covered in hailstones. I do hope it will clear up again soon.

Hmm...I've seen the forecast...don't hold your breath SG!

10 Apr, 2012

Yesterday we had quite a lot of sunshine but towards the east there were thick clouds shooting up plumes into the sky so we thought that someone was getting stormy weather.

11 Apr, 2012

Bit better here today...some sun, some rain, some hail...grey now though :(

11 Apr, 2012

We had hailstone yesterday (Weds.) we went out in the morning to Newstead Abbey and it was a lovely morning. In the afternoon it started to hailstone as we travelled home.

12 Apr, 2012

We too had a very fierce hail storm yesterday afternoon after a relatively good morning.
