This is lovely Homebird. Love the way you have planted the snowdrops too. Please keep posting photos, it does not matter how many time, I love looking, after all it is a gardening site. I can look at the same photos over and over again each time they look different and better. I love all the rocks you have there and how you have used them. :))))

Thankyou everyone for your lovely comments. T used the stone from the original pond so it is weathering well and has a good amount of moss growing on it. We just had stepping stones across the border to reach the steps which go down to the side of the house. We decided to put the step/path over the pond filter box and it's made it a lot easier to do any maintainance to it and this side of the pond..

They do look nice there.....your pond design wouldn't be much good for me, I would be the first to fall in the pond (after a drink or two) where is the handrail? lol health and safety regs......

You should have seen it before we dug out the steps and put that side path in. I used to have to balance on the wall to clear leaves and such from the water. Fell in once, taking some of the plants in with me. I emerged looking like the monster from the deep.....

Thanks Sharon, my grandson told me I ought to turn off the tap in case it filled the pond too full. Bless him he was only 5 at the time.......
