Fern in the garden

love ferns, I have them growing out of the old guttering, they will not be disturbed.

I love ferns too, one of my most satisfying accomplishments was to take a native fern from the slope below my garden where it was in a precarious spot and transplant it just inside the fence behind a Pinus sylvestris in a dappled corner. It seems very happy and is one of my most cherished plants. When it's large I'll divide it and plant several back out on the slope.

Bampy, I know what you mean.....there is this gorgeous little fern that grows under my m-in-law's storage door.....when I bring some home...they just dry up.
