Because I work away from home I don't get the opportunity to grow much in the way of my own seedlings and that makes bedding plants expensive for us. I have tried, as far as possible, to create a good mix of perennials and bedding plants inthe garden in order to keep annual costs down but a spread of colour throughout the summer.
