It wasn't me!!! I was asleep!!! my place!!! I definitely think it is a faulty propagator, lol

3 Jan, 2012

too many jars of chutney in it??

3 Jan, 2012

Well I had emptied most of the stuff out of it (now I have a polytunnel : ) but a bag of gravel should do it

3 Jan, 2012

you could put it in the polytunnel ~ double protection?

did the polytunnel stay up ok?

3 Jan, 2012

Yes it was fine this morning, and yes I also have another propagator IN the polytunnel as well : )

Trying to make an impression you're well organised and prepared Stevie? nah, don't think so, lol...

Not too bad Stevie. I had one of those and the last time we had strong gales, and even though it was well tied to the pipes on the house..the cover was ripped right off never to be seen again! THe remaining structure fell to bits and was then whirled away into the grey yonder!

At least it hadn't blown away completely. Perhaps you could make one yourself that has a bit more weight to it - I see from previous posts on here that you are a "master craftsman".

4 Jan, 2012

Well there's a thought, a pallet wood propagator, now that wouldn't move : )

4 Jan, 2012

need any nails Stevie? there is always plenty in my tires... looks like I am the magnes, they like me soo much, lol...

4 Jan, 2012

magnet?, magpie? kasy, I prefer screws, much more fun,
sorry to hear your tyre woes

4 Jan, 2012

oh, Stevie - not a magpie - definitely not. Drifting into Polglish too much in the evenings, lol.
Found screws easier to use too;-)
life would be too boring if nothing was happening in it... lol

5 Jan, 2012

Very true Kasy, I tend not to drink in the evening though ; )

5 Jan, 2012

you wanted to say: 'I tend not to drink (too much) ine the evening.... yes?
hahaha

5 Jan, 2012

7 Jan, 2012

Mine blew down too, our cat likes to sleep in it, so we tied it to the decking posts, (not the cat) so far, so good...

9 Jan, 2012

Glad you didn't tie the cat down!
