Hi there. Weather in Budapest hovering around 0C most of the time. We've had regular frosts much not much snow this winter. Yes you must visit Budapest, it is Europes best kept secret, an absolute jewell of a city.

I love roses to but i have had to get rid of them all ,I only had them in pots. but as i am getting older the thorn's rip my arms to shreds,my skin is so thin :)))

Oh dear Cmsue, what a shame for you to have to get rid of all your gorgeous roses!! You can get some thornless varieties now though. The only one I can think of at the moment is Zephrine Drouhine, which is a bright pink climber but Im sure there are many others.
