That's an unusual one, HB. I've never seen one with that variegation on the 'flowers'. I'm going to look up SL's link, too, because I can never keep mine and feel very guilty about it, because they are so beautiful.

Pretty variegations :o)

They don't like cold or draughts, so best not to position them near external doors. That is the full extent of my knowledge I'm afraid Homebird.

Lovely plant.

they dont like to be too wet, or by a draught, my mother still has hers from last year! she keeps it in her living room on the window sill.

Thanks everyone, I am taking all your advice and it won't be for the lack of trying if it doesn't do well for me. I have never seen one like this before.

you have to give them so many hours of light and so many hours of darkness so that the red leaves come back again Homebird.

My favourite colour - I keep mine at work moist all the time, mist spray them once a day. And as everyone is saying - no drafty spot, plenty of light but not sun. Good luck:)

Thanks Lins and Kasy, all this info is reassuring. I do hope I can do it justice.

Can't tell you how to care for it, as I'm rubbish with Houseplants, but I like it, it's different :)))))

I am glad you like it too Crissue. I haven't seen one with these colours before.
