Wonderful photo of your garden.

thanks 3p It was minus 7 and more for days and days I lost so many plants and all but 3 of my apanpanthus collection I had 24 !! It was so cold the cedar greenhouse door froze solid I coudnt open to fill the paraffin heater !!!

Your welcome. Yes I read on one of your otger photos how cold it was and you lost nearly all your Agapathus collection that took you ages to collect. I think its best to keep them in big pots in future and just place them in areas around your garden so if a cold snap comes like that again you can put them in the green house. Sad you lost them and coukd nt get in your green house . I use to use a keetle of water to defrost my window screen years ago shoukd work with wood too.

So they are nt safe in a green house with out heating then . Not much good then even if hou had taken the door off .

yes went minus in the greenhouse as well for over 4 days !!!

You will have to get one of those long metal tubes my grand father had which was a heater for his green house he use to grow testing plants for companies.
