These Senegal Date Palms appear to have just been trimmed back. They're beautiful next to this very nice house in Point Loma, San Diego, CA. Photo taken Oct. 15, 2011.

It'll most like grow in a pot for a while. I have Mexican Fan palms (Washingtonia robusta) popping everywhere. I'm constantly pulling them up.

I have a new fan palm that grew from a seedling in one of my mom's pots.....now where to plant it.
