Foxglove Beardtongue is a native perennial that is blooming in my yard right now. Bees use the 3-lobed lower portion of the flower as a landing pad, and as they crawl in, they pollinte the flower. Since this flower is in the Snapdragon family, it can be used by the Buckeye butterfly as a host plant.
