Stephanandra incisa crispa
Left to itself, this makes a dome-shaped shrub up to six feet high and more across. As the arching stems reach the ground, they will root (like a bramble). Cutting out the oldest stems every two or three years keeps it smaller and tidier. For sun or part shade

I brought some cuttings of this from my old garden when I moved here but I didn't realise it grew so tall, I'd had it for several years but kept cutting it back. It used to arch nicely over an old wall. Looks like I'll still have to keep an eye on it. I like the shape of its leaves
