How unusual, I rather like that.

Thats lovely Spritz, very unusual. I've not seen this one before.

that is lovely! i have 2 Leucothoes but neither like that ~ mine are tending towards the sprawly shape now ~ can i clip them back ~ is the curly one a compact shrub?

Sticki, you're asking the wrong person, sadly. I planted a Leucothoe err-um...'Zablid'?? I know Hywel has one...try asking him!

It died. It didn't like my neutral soil - it needed acid soil. This one is absolutely fine, though - in fact, I have two of them, and they're both fine! Yes, it's a compact one. :-)

nice to know its compact, i like its regularity but with a rebellious streak ~ having all those curls!! we have slightly acid soil so i dont know if it would like it.

Yes, it would love it! :-)))))

will look out for that with my GC token ~ thank you!

I saw this at the GC last week and was tempted to get it but wasn't sure if it was evergreen and I was looking for evergreens. Now it's on the list for later. I liked the curly multi- coloured leaves.

I do too, Homebird. I was a bit upset when the other Leucothoe died, but I really like this one, and it seems to be very happy in my garden. :-)

It is unusual with the curly leaves , very attractive!

:-)) The leaves go red in the colder months. How about that? ;-0

Yes! I might even think about getting another one, as it has proved to be hardy. :-)
