OH DEAR, THE MOUSE MUST HAVE BEEN PECKISH~AND MADE SURE HE HAD HIS 6 A DAY!!!!

OH DEAR, THE MOUSE MUST HAVE BEEN PECKISH~AND MADE SURE HE HAD HIS 6 A DAY!!!!

This box of clemantines were put in the garage because we were still eating some previously bought. When we went to bring some in to eat, this is what we found. We must have a mouse in there and he's eaten a hole through the netting over the box, bitten a hole in the skin and eaten about 6 clemantines completely from the outside in. The only thing left is the complete skins minus a hole and the flesh.

Thanks Val, Tt, Elsiemay, and Stripes for your comments.

Tt, Thanks for your lovely song, you sang it beautifully, but gave your age away......just slightly!!. You gave myself and hubby a really good laugh tonight, I could hardly read it to him through laughing. What with all your different puzzles you think up and all your brilliant comments you must have a very quick thinking brain, wish I had one as quick, mine seems to have slowed down in recent years. Thanks again, it was brilliant.

Hello Hywel...
In the photo, would you agree ... it seems like one of those Clementines is still intact ... or is the mouse hiding inside ? ;o)

14 Jan, 2011

Maybe the mouse is saving that one for later on :o)

'Twas some nights after Christmas,
When all through the house ...
Not a creature was stirring.
Except for the mouse ...

The clementines nestled, all snug in their crate,
With no way of knowing their ultimate fate ...
Incisors and whiskers were keen to tuck in ...
And chew at the fruit hidden under the skin ...

Then giving a nod to the fruit that he stole,
The little mouse ran right back into his hole ...
But I heard him exclaim as he ran out of sight ...
I've had my "5-a-day", so to all, a good night ! :o)
