xmas arrangements

Have been amusing myself planting up polyanthus, and winter pansies etc for the Country Market on Saturday. Not much in flower though at the moment, although lots of buds.

Lovely idea. Hope you are a sell out. Our market didn't happen last week they cancelled because of the snow. We walked down the road because we assumed that it was on but ended up going to the local ironmongers shop and bringing back a snow shovel. I did help to decorate the church Christmas tree though. Got some silver lametta from WIlkinsons to put on the branches.

Thanks Lindak. It was actually very disappointing, I only sold one !! There weren't many people, and those that were there seemed more interested in the food on sale. Shame really, but I'll keep some for next time as the flowers may be out then. I may give some away to my friends for christmas.
Well you will be ok if we get snowed up again then, and it looks possible, the forecasts are pretty accurate now.

You'll have to bake some small cakes and offer them free if they buy a flower in a pot.......It's dissapointing when you've worked hard getting the plants ready for selling and decorating them as well. They will make lovely Christmas presents for friends and family.

Thanks Lindak. Can't make cakes for the market as you have to have a certificate etc. I would be a little annoyed if I had done a lot, but it was only a few, and they may come good after Christmas.
