as it happens they have enjoyed a beautiful hot day sunbathing... we stil have the vast majority of them! We're in the process of building another shed so the indoor chicks can come outside and enjoy the nice weather too!

sounds lovely... they will really enjoy pecking around for insects and scratching and dusting...I really miss my Mom's hens.

beautiful pic...I have one very similar...where in ontario do you reside??? my mom lives in niagara falls, the weather there rocks ( at least compared to here)..

Your Mom is about 7 hours west of me, Newfienurse.I am about as far east in Ontario as it's possible to go...and not be in Quebec!! Cornwall...Niagara and the escarpment are part of one of the warmest climactic regions ~~the Carolingian...your Mom's in grape growing country!!
