pretty photo...I love the early morning light.. could be late afternoon, too, I suppose. it's the angle of light that picks up the hairs on the bud and budstem..that's what delights me, I guess.

Thank you. And, good call - I took the picture at 5PM at the end of August last year.
There were only a few poppies in the wild flower seed mix, and I enjoyed each one immensely. This picture was my favourite of the bunch - it looks much better in full screen.
