Thanks Janette. I wish these azaleas would wbloom all summer. I love having the color and I've been working very hard on adding more. 75% of the plants are new this year so I don't expect too much until next year.

I noticed looking through photos that a lot of you folks have your Azaleas in pots. Is this because they don't make it through the winter if planted in the ground ? If so this really surprises me as our cold is more extreme here in the northeast usa than it is for you.

By the way... the pink Azalea is evergreen " Girard's Fuchsia " and the red is evergreen " Stewartsonian "

I see then Janette. Wouldn't adding acid fertilizer work for you ? I feed mine twice a year with Mir-Acid.
