I am not surprised.....mature trees cost an arm and a leg, who would buy it? why a pop star or a wag of course, we love cloud pruning and most of the trees start at a thousand pounds, makes ours worth about.............well a few bob lol

22 Jul, 2010

Well that's done it for me, I'm packing up my japanese maples and moving to the UK. I've always wanted tro know what it felt like to be filthy rich...lol. That reminds me, if you bought three of them, maybe I should just ask you what it feels like BB....!

31 Jul, 2010

If you think trees are bad you should see the crazy price of our houses ...if youre coming then try and bring your land and home with you too lol

31 Jul, 2010

You sure know how to burst my bubble don't you...lol. Oh well, It was a nice thought anyway....:-). I can live in poverty over here, no need to cross the Atlantic to do the same..lol

Aw well thats a guilty Brit talking who feels so bad that when visited US the exchange rate was nearly $2 to our pound.Fantastic for us as everything huge and much cheaper .. terrible value for you coming here find $11 a gallon for petrol and coffee $5 for each cup .. you ll never be left a jug its embarrassing.

Made to feel so welcome wherever went in US .. not sure we could say the same to our tourists.

2 Aug, 2010

Wow...., I'd better win the lottery before I come. Now I feel guitly for complaining when our gas went up to $2.60 a gallon ! What's the term for people who live below poverty level.....lol ? Because that's the level I'd be listed in if I moved over there.
On the good side you Brits are famous for your wonderful sense of humor, quick wit, and hospitality, so it would be worth the price...;-)

2 Aug, 2010

We try to laugh .. as stops us crying you d think our wages would compensate but I bet you so much better off honestly Flower if you sold up your home and land and came here youd not believe it.

Yes we d welcome you but our service industry appauling compared to yours.
Id never heard of brunch .. where you could go back and serve yourself from breakfast into lunch for the same price .. try that here and you d be charged with theft !

Perhaps I m over doing it but when my Aunt visited from NC spent my whole time apologizing as all she ever seemed to say was Geez ..

2 Aug, 2010

LOL...., you're killing me .... I haven't laughed this hard in a long time !
Bless your Aunt's heart. Maybe NC is feeling alittle more like home to her now...;-)

2 Aug, 2010

Oh bless her our speed limit on Motorways ( Freeways ) 70 mph - we stopped for petrol she was shaking ..I said yes its such a price here ...she said Geez its not the price its the speed you re going .

2 Aug, 2010

Lol..., man I bet she's glad to be home..! Too bad getting where your going quicker doesn't save more gas or I'd be saving tons of it myself. I'm bad to do 70 mph here too, and thats well above our speed limit. (that will be our little secret, okay ?)....lol

3 Aug, 2010

Of course safe with me x How far you from Fayetteville ?

3 Aug, 2010

I'm about 195 miles away, estmate time would be 3 hours 40mins. With the way I drive, I'd say about 3 hours away at the most...lol.

4 Aug, 2010

Ha ha the way my Aunt drives more like 3 days bless her she d be booking stop overs and motels to go that far ..
