Sweet Rocket ' for Dawn'

Wow, think it'd be my favourite place too, bet it smells amazing.............

We found this place last year Kathy , Eileen , you have to fight your way through tall stinging nettles and brambles to reach it , but boy is it worth it when you do , I'm sure not many people can know about it because there's no other tracks trodden through to it , I went back last autumn to collect some seed for Dawn which she has grown , it does smell heavenly Kathy , wish you could smell it .. :o)

Oh yes Pansy. Amy sent them last year and I set them in the early Autumn, they grew so easily and I set them out and have them growing like this on the edge of my trees, they are beautiful, I hope to set more and more now I can collect my own seeds. If you would like some seed, just let me know.

You will get there Dawn , I don't think it will be too long when you consider how ours grew this year .. :o))
We creep back each year Carole hoping that nothing has happened to spoil it , and then Wow it hits you , the sight and smell it's awesome ... ..

I will save my seeds for you as well Dawn , you can have some seed Carole, I warn you , you need a lot of room for them , you don't get the aroma from a few you needs lots ....

Thanks Amy and Dawn for your offers of seed, I would love some but I havent very much room to give them the space they need to do them justice, so I will just have to be content looking at your beautiful pictures of them and imagining the scent;0)

It is stunning Jane / Ray and Pg ... I can't describe how it feels to stand there , i'm sure the owners of the area must know of it but i'm equally sure that not many people know of it , we mentioned them to close friends who appreciate nature who live nearby and they had never seen or heard of them ...we still haven't shown them ! .you can only see a small part on the photo there is much more both ways ...
You do need a lot of room Carole , I only put half a doz. plants in to see if they would grow , we will be keeping an eye on Dawns growing patch she has the room ... :o)

Also Amy, they keep on flowering, they are super and have really cheered up the edges of my trees. If you have more seeds spare, I'll have them and collect my own too, thank you very much.
