Yes very snug not good for anyone 6 feet tall or over Im 5' 10" and still bang my head on beams.Thats a great idea Mike but the bracket over the door is for a christmas tree that local council provide each year - they dress various properties in the village and lights for the tree.Have done so for many years apparently so may have to forego that and wait for wisteria to cover wall.

Apparently its early 1600 so not quite as old as yours.We have two rooms that have been sealed off locals tell us that is because cottage was used as mortuary for church next door! Now that would make a good quiz guess what I find in these rooms.Be a good halloween quiz!

Access is through old lean to shed at end of house worried that I ll bring the lot down (knowing me thats a given) so perhaps when get pond finished....
