I like this idea, easy to see how well the roots are developing. I have noticed that transparent plant pots have been on sale in garden centres in the last year or so, wonder how the prices compare. I know the pots have drainage holes in them, but a hot skewer does the job with yoghurt pots and cartons, a [half] pint pot can't be very different :-)
