Visiting Ducks

They stayed all day yesterday sunbathing on the lawn , I don't know why , there isn't a river or stream near us , they were quick to ask for food .......

It's an old pig feeding trough Fp ... . would you believe they actually got in and tried swimming round ducking under the arches ...LOL... . we have a ditch on the border of one side of the garden the old chap the other side said he has known them to nest in the ditch so we are wondering if thats why they are here , the ditch leads to what they call a settling pond so that could be the answer .. :o)

Thanks everyone , i'm pleased that you liked the old pig trough ... I'm sorry to say the ducks didn't put in an appearance today ,
Yes San there is water in the pig trough the birds use it to have baths in ,
They didn't stay Toto but I could already see what they were capable of after one day .. ..
They were all boys Janey maybe the sight of that water made them leave in a hurry .. :o))
It was nice while it lasted Jacque .. :o))
