new lipstick plant


new lipstick plant (Aeschynanthus radicans)

got it in full bloom, this is just after, lots of new shoots. I think I got a good one! Hangs high enough I can walk under it, good spot.

Interesting. Has it got another name?

Lipstick is all I know as common name. This is the classic, thick waxy leaves and purple tubular bracts with scarlet blossoms that come out of them, like a lipstick! Wish I was on top of it enough to have a blooming photo.
