Siskin on new 'adapted' feeder.....

Bought the clear ball feeder for sunflower hearts for the Goldfinches but when I put it up, the little uns were struggling to get in to the holes to feed as there was no platform for them!
So, we bought a clear plant-pot tray and I glued it to the bottom of the ball in order that the birds can now sit on/in the actual dish and feed to their 'sunflower' hearts, content......seems to have worked!

Got some sunflower hearts up in the Rowan as well......they're spoilt I tell you!

its nice to spoil them Dan, with more and more low maintenance gardens that means less natural foods for birds, they depend on us more and more.
