Please tell me this isnt a nasty Harlaquin Ladybird ? i havent seen one in Jersey before ;o(

This does look like the ones featured on Gardeners World the week before last. I think it said something like if they have more than 8 spots then they are not a native species. These predatory ladybirds are taking over our native ones but they said dont panic as the situation is being monitored by researchers. They do look a bit sinister compared to our familiar ones!
