Lenten Rose

Lenten Rose (HELLEBORUS NIGER)

so susprised to see these flowers, as this plant was severely damaged by the winter weather, I cut off all the leaves as they were so unsightly and moved the clump to a new area, didnt think I would see anything this year, but hey they look so pretty now!

Thanks everyone pleased you like the Hellebores!
Just arrived home from the Garden Centre with my vouchers stil lintact, So much choice! problem is that I do have a few shrubs that I am very fond of that are badly damaged by the winter weather, Pittosporums and Lavenders which I am debating whether or not to dig up and replace, so Ive decided to give them some more time to see if they recover before I use my precious vouchers!

Glad you had a good birthday, PP. I had to smile at the fact that you returned from the GC with your vouchers unspent! I do that so many times - you have to get it just right, don't you? I was lucky to get some vouchers for Mothers Day so I will be picking and choosing soon too :)
