with the water in...the effect I was hoping for has been achieved! I wanted a wide uninterupted surface...for reflections...but still have phase two which is out of the picture to the right...shallows.

thanks folks... it sure has been a workout. Irish: it's 16 ft long and 8 ft wide at the shallow end... the deep end is narrower by about 2 ft.

Shucks ma'am, t'wern't nuthin. wait til you get a boo of my shallows and Japanese island feature...lol.
