I like the way it is resting on the cloud Milky .... the moon was so bright I looked outside to see if we had left the big lights on out there !

I don't know how you photographed the moon and Mars when all I see is over-cast clouds. When the sky is clear at night the stars are still hard to see with all the street and city lights left on all night.
Years ago when I lay in my swag out in the outback I would look at the millions of stars and satalites and they looked so close that I got the impression I could reach up and touch them. How sad when a young man of about twenty said to me last year, he has never seen the milky way.

Tanny that is sad for the young man. I can remember being on holiday on Samos and going on a night boat trip. The captain had a very powerful spotlight and he was pointing out all the different constellations with the beam Then he switched it off and we we in darkness totally and just looking up we were underneath the Milky Way and it was so bright...so beautiful....Its sad you cant get a good look at the stars yourself......
